Can’t believe I’m celebrating 50 years in the window cleaning industry.
Started on the tools with The Great International in the 70s, then moved through New Century, The Clean Group, and later became General Manager at Kobi Group Plc.
A real highlight was receiving a Gold Award for rolling out City & Guilds Level 2 training and QCF qualifications with the IMPACT 43 TEAM over several years—helping to raise training standards across the industry.
I’ve met some brilliant people along the way—window cleaners, young business owners, and worked with some of the UK’s largest companies.
A great industry, and I’m proud to still be part of it.

Today we heard the sad news that one of our very first customers in Sibsey, Dorothy, has passed away.
Over the years, this job becomes about more than just cleaning windows — you get to know the people, their lives, and their stories. Dorothy was part of our journey from the beginning and will be remembered fondly by us all.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends.
Rest in peace, Dorothy 🤍
