We kicked off our first driveway and path clean of the year last week — great start, and top work from our Harry 👏
Quick heads‑up: we never pressure wash and re‑sand on the same day — and no reputable company does.
After cleaning, block‑paving joints need a chance to dry out and kiln‑dried sand won’t settle or lock in properly if the joints aren’t bone‑dry. Can’t believe I’m celebrating 50 years in the window cleaning industry.
Started on the tools with The Great International in the 70s, then moved through New Century, The Clean Group, and later became General Manager at Kobi Group Plc.
A real highlight was receiving a Gold Award for rolling out City & Guilds Level 2 training and QCF qualifications with the IMPACT 43 TEAM over several years—helping to raise training standards across the industry.
I’ve met some brilliant people along the way—window cleaners, young business owners, and worked with some of the UK’s largest companies.
A great industry, and I’m proud to still be part of it.
